New album, “Necronomisongs”, out on September 27th!
In the four years since the release 2020’s Life is Bad, Torrefy have worked feverishly to create an album that would be nothing short of its masterwork. That masterwork is now realized in the form of Necronomisongs! Ripping Thrash and abrasive Black Metal are prime elements, yet the band’s self-described unorthodox approach to composition has paid big dividends! The album slashes, burns, and genre-bends with unhinged ferocity, all without sacrificing an ounce of memorability.
Torrefy is a black thrash quintet based in Victoria, BC, Canada. They are determined to spread their unique brand of unorthodox black thrash metal to a wider audience. Torrefy weaves elements of black, death, and thrash metal to create songs and albums with a distinct and powerful energy.
