New EP, “The Red Tape Sessions”, out on December 5th!
From the very beginning, THE VICE has followed their own crooked path, driven by a desire to carve out a place of their own within the scene. And that grimy, wildhearted, metal/rock/pop fusion, with one foot firmly planted in the windswept, frozen North and the other cemented to the concrete of the streets, sure sounds like nothing else.
Dark, blackened metal, ferocious rock ‘n’ roll, posh punk and harsh, hardcore attitude; mixed with a huge dose of the cultural colossi of the 90’s such as Guns & Roses, Pantera, Prince, Grunge, Oasis, Neometal, Fight Club, The Matrix and Terminator 2 to name a few. All of that – and everything in between – comes close to describing the very essence of THE VICE.
Three full-length albums and numerous EPs into their career, the band stands as a confident, adrenaline-pumping unit – a bunch of loose cannons at the starting blocks, ready to commence the next chapter in THE VICE saga.
The first leg of this new era is marked by “Cardinal Tropes”, the opening track from “The Red Tape Sessions” mini-EP, closing out 2025 with a colorful bang. The track is a straightforward, mean-sounding statement piece – a perfect representation of THE VICE in 2025.
