New album, “Perpetual Cycles Of Violence”, out on March 6th!
The album takes the modern appeal of the core influenced metal genres and mixes it with a heavy, raw sound to create an intense, anarchic and violent musical assault.
Based in Tallinn, Estonia, progressive metalcore/deathcore band THE PRIMER first hit the scene in 2011. They wasted little time in making their presence known; releasing their debut full-length in 2012 and their first EP in 2014.
‘PERPETUAL CYCLES OF VIOLENCE,’ is the band’s love letter to the genre. It honors the foundations of the style while offering something different for every song on the album. The album’s themes reflect its title; the songs cover the different cycles and sources of pain that we all go through in life—and the inescapability of it all.
