New album, “Answered Prayers”, out on November 13th!
On the band’s next album, Answered Prayers Brown pulls back from the more polished, prog-tinged death/black hybrid of 2024’s Hemasanctum and returns to the band’s original core: first and second wave black metal, filtered through atmospheric rasps of despair and phantasmal, buried death growls. Across ten tracks, its nihilistic concept unfolds — humanity erased retroactively, centuries before the Industrial Revolution, as the only cure for a poisoned world.
Answered Prayers was mixed and mastered by Alex Sedin (Ghostalgy Productions), with Dmitry Kim (Jinjer and others) on session drums.
The cover artwork was done by Luciana Nedelea (Mare Cognitum, Sepulchral Curse and others).
