Debut album, “Les Malfaisances De La Taufpatin”, out on October 7th!
La Taufpatin is an entity identified as a witch from East France / Elsass. She is perfectly and absolutely unbearable, full of hatred and scorn. Originally from the 18th Century, she is specialized in brewing horrible potions and crafting hideous spells. She used her knowledge to do only evil and wrong, especially to the good fairies and the good folk. She became so terrible that she eventually provoked the people to rise against her. She was burnt at the stake before a cheering crowd of citizens, hence delivered from her mischiefs. Now for some strange reason, she is alive and well: Taufpatin’s debut album, Les Malfaisances de la Taufpatin.
The album (English: “the Mischiefs of la Taufpatin”) unfolds the whole story why she decided to play a very mean trick (vengeance) to the good fairies and how she did it. Apparently, she was not summoned (asked to) to a fairy-party. So, she grabbed her broom and hat, ate a full pot of chocolate, and decided to play a very bad trick on them all. Now she wants to hit the scene and to be famous, so she chose this way of telling her story as a good first album theme.
Antiq does not endorse the harming of the good fairies, or any supernatural being. In fact, we did not want to release this album, but we are forced to under a spell. La Taufpatin took control of some channels, cast a variety of complicated spells, and there I am, writing you under the threat.
