New EP, “The World Is Yours”, out now!
Syff, a hardcore band hailing from Koblenz, Germany, has just released their latest EP titled “The World Is Yours.” The EP covers themes of war, violence, terror, world-weariness, and the feeling of powerlessness in the face of a world ruled by whoever has the most bombs. The cover art of the EP is a visual representation of this powerlessness. The EP consists of 5 songs that last only 8 minutes in total, but the channeled anger and restlessness about these themes is spread throughout the music. The vocals have a mix of melodic and spoken interludes between the constant screaming, and the music is loud and wild. The songs flow seamlessly into one another, leaving the listener no time to take a deep breath. It’s worth noting that the band produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered the EP on their own, showcasing their musical prowess.
