New album “Decrowned” out on June 23rd!
The amazing technical death metallers Structural are, after two successful European tours as support for “Semblant” and “Fleshgod Apocalypse”, back with their sophomore album “Decrowned”. Structural delivers an intense and mind-blowing fist of technical death metal, adding layers of fantastic melody on top. Soaring riffs, violent rhythm patterns and the unmistakable deep growl from Nadav Zaidman combined, is balm for the soul of any death-metal lover out there and the extreme quality of the product simply cannot be ignored.
The amazing mix and master were done by well-known producer Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist, a.o.) and the artwork for the album was created by the talented Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design).
Structural is a melodic / technical death metal band from Israel, formed in 2015 by guitarists Shani Friedman & Tamir Vered and vocalist Nadav Zaidman. After several line-up changes, the band now features Shani Friedman and Tomer Dembinsky (Guitars), Nadav Zaidman (Vocals), Koren Esco (Bass) and Vadim Sergyenko (Drums).
Musically, the sound of the band carries influences from bands such as Lamb of God, Nevermore and Arch Enemy along with more modern influences such as Obscura and Periphery. Motivated by the ambition to create its own unique voice, Structural worked for three years on soldering the right combination of fierce drumming, complex and odd timed modern riffs alongside communicative melodies, led by utterly ruthless vocals.
In order to achieve a relentless outcome, the group turned to producer Alex Zvulun in august of 2016 and started working on their debut album “Metacognition”, which was (self) released on June 3rd, 2018. The album caught the attention of the Danish management/booking agency, Intromental, who immediately signed the band upon hearing “Metacognition”.
Sadly, the world went down the drain, due to the covid pandemic, but in the 2 years of World-lockdown, Structural have worked on new material and even managed to finally embark on a European tour, as support for the Brazilian powerhouse act Semblant.
The tour has boosted the Structural name on the continent and the band is already now landing their first festival shows for the summer of 2023.
