New album, “Pishach”, out now!
In Mumbai, India, Sabotage, a dynamic force in the global metal scene, has returned with their highly anticipated album, Pishach. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Toxic Holocaust, Annihilator, and Metallica, Sabotage’s latest offering is a relentless onslaught of pure thrash energy.
Pishach, deriving its name from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘evil,’ is an eight-track journey into the darker realms of human imagination. Each track explores a different theme, ranging from Viking legend Ragnar Lothbrok to dystopian worlds, from revenge to betrayal. The album even features a Sabotage anthem track, showcasing the band’s signature style and unyielding spirit.
Breaking away from convention, Sabotage experimented with a native Indian instrument called the Chenda, infusing their sound with a unique percussive element from the land of Kerala. This bold experimentation adds a fresh dimension to their already captivating sound.
Pishach marks a departure from Sabotage’s previous work, combining modern and old-school sounds to create a diverse and captivating musical experience. With each track offering a distinct sonic landscape, the album keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.
Established in 2017 on the streets of Bassein – Mumbai, India, Sabotage has quickly risen to prominence in the metal community.
