New album, “Nueva Humanidad”, out on May 17th!
In May 2022, Dirceu joined the previous project of Carlos, Alex, and another member of the band (singer and rhythm guitarist), known as SinGrey. After their only concert together and with enough material, they decided to record an album in November 2022 to seriously develop the musical project, but the singer did not continue.
At the end of January 2023, the pre-production of the project began under the direction of Raúl Abellán. In April, Toni (Lobo) joined the project and transformed the vocal and lyrical part of the songs. After reviewing the songs and the new dimension offered by Toni, it became clear that the project was different from SinGrey; thus, the previous project ended, and a new one was born, still without a name.
In July, drums, bass, rhythms, and part of the solos were recorded. In October, the vocals were finished, and by the end of November, the last solos and pending details were completed. After the disappearance of the previous project, Pòstum-0 was born.
Carlos Aliaga founded SinGrey as a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Alejandro Alamá played double bass in classical music and participated in metal and rock groups in Madrid and Valencia. Dirceu Lozano joined the project after exploring the fusion of rhythms in Colombia. Remigio Ros joined as the second guitar in February 2024, after a long career in punk rock formations. Antonio Sales became the vocalist of the group in 2023, after having been a member of other groups like Zhuo and Zarigüeya.
Pòstum-0 aims for powerful and melodic metal, elaborate but without artifice, and they sing in Spanish to be understandable on stage. Their goal is to make music, metal, and hard rock, without limiting themselves to a single genre.
