Emerging from the very depths of depravity known as southern Norway, NITHE are a new band comprised of old souls. Within the first seconds of pressing “play” on their Funeral Death demo, you know NITHE mean fucking business: deathrashing black metal in a manner most ancient and obscure. Invoked by an immense predilection for the old masters of evil sounds – Nifelheim, Vomitor, Hadez, and Necrovore are but a few handy reference points – NITHE are on a mission to crush the light and spew bitterness and hatred upon you and your kind. Truly, these guys are up to no good.
