New EP, “Death Punk”, out on October 10th!
The five-track release brings together some of the catchiest songs from the band’s current live set. It moves from the rock-driven side of “Tell Me Lies” to heavier thrash-dbeat tracks such as “Dirty Derrick”, keeping the songs fast, direct and built for live impact.
For Methedrine, Death Punk is also a salute to punk and to the hardcore background that shaped the band. The record carries lyrics written by Lucio, who fronted Methedrine for eight years, while also opening the door to the band’s next chapter.
