New album, “Dandelion”, out on October 16th!
Dandelion is the third studio album by Dutch singer-songwriter Lotte Walda. A heartfelt journey about letting go, coming home, growing, blooming and opening your heart to love. Inspired by the dandelion and its journey from flower to seeds carried by the wind, the album reflects the balance between freedom and belonging. It is about allowing life to take you places, while always finding your way back to yourself.
“I am the seeds that travel, and the flower that always finds its way home.”
The album carries an additional emotional layer through the loss of Lotte’s best friend and producer Angelo Bombrini, who unexpectedly passed away in March 2026. Angelo produced the majority of the album and was an important part of its creation. His presence is woven into the record, making Dandelion not only an album about life and love, but also about loss, memories and learning to let go.
The final track, “Angelo”, is included as a bonus track and is a personal tribute to their friendship.
Musically, Dandelion blends Lotte’s warm vocals with folk, pop, disco and country influences, acoustic instrumentation and the timeless spirit of the 60s and 70s.
