New album, “Trümmerfestung”, out on December 12th!
Open the gates to the world of JARL with their new album “Trümmerfestung”. The quintet from Northern Germany confronts you with the darker sides of life. Within the crumbling walls, classic black metal riffs and raw extreme metal join forces.
JARL arose from the ashes of various underground bands. Originally founded in 2004 by Blutaxt and Mightyraven as an acoustic side project of Black Unicorn, JARL lay dormant for a long time… Nearly forgotten, the ice was broken in 2016, and the band found new strength. Mightyraven, Natt Kongen and Blutaxt shaped JARL into a black metal act. The open positions were quickly filled by Hrimthur and Aestus. Now, risen from the ashes and forged into a unit, JARL represents melodic German black metal at its finest.
