New album, “The Kinematics Of Doubt”, out on October 30th!
Thirty years after activating the IMPLANT signal, Len Lemeire returns with The Kinematics Of Doubt, the 15th studio album from one of Belgium’s longest-standing and most inventive electro-industrial acts.
Rather than looking back, IMPLANT reconnects with the project’s original circuitry: the relentless pulse of EBM, mechanical sequencing and physical electronics once again form the album’s foundation, now propelled by three decades of experimentation and refined through contemporary production. Modern techno, dark industrial, addictive trance and synth-driven textures collide to create an album that feels unmistakably “IMPLANT” – direct, immersive and constantly evolving.
The title borrows from the language of physics, where kinematics describes movement rather than the forces behind it – here, doubt becomes motion. Lead single “Underneath The Neon Lights” leads the charge, alongside the 3/4-structured “I’m Only Happy When You Bleed”, direct EBM cuts “Pills”, “Framed” and “Sanity”, and slower pieces like “Civilization”, “Talking In Your Sleep” and closer “Wounds”.
