Debut album, “Ad Infinitum”, out now!
Ad Infinitum is an album built on contrast, blending explosive moments of energy with calmer passages that move between light and darkness, reflecting the emotional depth of its lyrics. Heavy guitars and bass provide a solid and powerful foundation, balanced with melodic atmospheric sections and energetic drum patterns that alternate between complexity and directness.
The album was composed by Joan Juan Serra, with arrangements by David Rigo Fernández. Lyrics were written by Lorena Belizón Bautista and Marcos Calvo Viada, and production was handled by Nico Beninato.
Hyshtral is a metal band formed in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in 2024. After playing together in their previous alternative metal project Seísmo, David, Marcos, Joan, and Lorena decided to push their sound towards a more extreme and aggressive direction: heavier riffs, pounding double kick drums, crushing bass lines, intense breakdowns, and a stronger presence of guttural and harsh vocals.
A few months later, drummer Juanlu (formerly of the Mallorcan band Noiseast) joined the lineup, adding a new layer of power and technicality to the band’s sound.
Drawing from the diverse influences of each member, Hyshtral’s music explores the vast spectrum of metal subgenres, forging a sound that is both dynamic and relentless.
