New album, “Sentinel Beast”, out on March 8th!
Brutal death metal band HOUWITSER, made up of former members of the legendary death metal band SINISTER, are set to unchain their latest monstrosity ‘SENTINEL BEAST,’ the band’s sixth full length album. ‘SENTINEL BEAST’ presents death metal played as brutal as possible but without sacrificing songwriting for intensity. The album’s composition consists of dense riffs, tight rhythms, and blood-drenched growls.
The Dutch death metal commandos of HOUWITSER originally began their path of audible violence in 1997, formed by ex-SINISTER member Michel Alderliefsten. The band split up in 2004 but reformed in 2009 and released the triumphant ‘Bestial Atrocity’ in 2010.
‘SENTINEL BEAST’ further solidifies their uncompromising path of total death metal mayhem. The songs are anthems of brutality that push their sound into the modern world even while they tear it down with a classic barbaric and bloodthirsty approach.
