Paying homage to the golden eras of thrash and heavy metal from the ’80s and ’90s, the EP captures the raw aggression, rebellious energy, and uncompromising attitude that defined the genre.
Formed in 2022 by Ignacio Hernández (guitar) and Mark Reynolds (bass), Chilean HELLADDICT soon solidified their lineup with Javier Hernández (vocals), Juan Barra (vocals), Sebastián Ibáñez (guitar), and Gonzalo Bayer (drums). The band hails from the heart of La Florida, with members also representing nearby areas like Macul and Ñuñoa.
Drawing influence from legendary acts such as Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Pantera , and Sepultura, as well as punk icons like Misfits, The Ramones, La Polla Records, and Suicidal Tendencies, HELLADDICT’s sound is a fierce blend of thrash metal, punk, and classic heavy metal—delivering a rebellious musical statement with powerful riffs and socially charged lyrics.
The EP was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Roberto Abarza at Estudio Rockfels , capturing the band’s raw live energy and unfiltered sonic identity.
