New album, “A Frozen Moment In Time”, out on November 14th!
G.A.E.A. (Galactic Aliens Extermination Armada) is a project created by Buzz (aka Giuseppe Nicolò – MEMORIES OF A LOST SOUL) and his desire to combine Progressive Metal, Death / Thrash, Avantgardish Modern sounds with the soundtracks of video games and 1980s sci-fi films and so CYNIC, ATHEIST, MESHUGGAH, GOJIRA can be considered the fathers of their sound even if the mastery of G.A.E.A.’s music is absolutely unique.
Today the band features a renewed line-up completed with Dysphoria on keyboards and female vocals and Emi Dattolo on bass,
“A Frozen Moment In Time” is based on the concept of the journey of the last humans aboard their mothership in search of a habitable planet due to the imminent explosion of the Earth.
The band creates atmospheres that masterfully intertwine different currents ranging from Prog to Death Metal to melodic Goth sounds.
Brutal vocals live in symbiosis with sweet melodies of female voices often embellished by the vocoder use, in the meantime lethal riffs spread through the air with devastating fury and sink into your body like sharp blades in an extremely refined style and with a sound born from Lost Soul Studio.
The result is “A Frozen Moment In Time”, an album capable of having its heart and its soul projected towards the future. G.A.E.A., a musical kaleidoscope of freezing atmospheres and devastating harmonies.
