FREEDOMINATION is a metal band formed in 2008. Over the years, the band has released four self-published works and has become renowned for its energetic performances in the Finnish metal scene. The group garnered acclaim for its releases in Finnish metal media, notably being chosen as the band of the month by Inferno magazine after the “Power of Nightmares” demo. The band’s sound blends elements of thrash metal, progressive metal, traditional heavy metal, and punk rock. The influences are firmly rooted in old-school North American and British metal, though they deliberately avoid a “retro” sound. Instead, the focus is on timeless expression, and the band’s sound is undeniably contemporary.
