New album, “Celestial”, out on November 29th!
The album was composed and recorded during 2020-2024 at Intermodulation Studio in Kyiv region. It shows the evolution of the band’s authentic art style from the early days to the current moment, influenced by multiple line-up changes and the variety of conditions the band members were put through during the album’s production period.
The story behind “Celestial” depicts the violent absurdity and the grim futility of human existence, which appears to be completely insignificant comparing to the endless darkness of cosmic void and all the undiscovered mysteries it conceals.
The main musical inspirations for this album were such bands as Bloodbath, The Black Dahlia Murder, Entombed, Dismember, Edge of Sanity, Gorefest, Revel In Flesh, Suffocation, Vital Remains, Necrom, Mutanter.
Dying Grotesque was created in the suburbs of Kyiv, Ukraine in 2018 as a one-man project by Vadym ‘Silvan’ Tsymbaliuk. With the addition of new members in 2020, the project became a band and started performing live at a number of gigs and festivals throughout Ukraine. The music by Dying Grotesque represents a mixture of various genres and styles – Death Metal, Doom, Thrash Metal and even contains some Synth and Folk elements.
The band’s current discography includes full-length albums “Sunflower Tide” (2020) and “Celestial” (2024), EPs “Creator Plan” (2019) and “Before the Imminence” (2021), singles “Helga” (2020), “Where the Wolves Howl My Name” (2021), “Red Alert” (2022), “Nuclear Meadows” (2024) and “Pneuma” (2024).
