New album, “Plaguelords”, out on November 25th!
Doomherre are returning with their second full-length album, Plaguelords, scheduled for release via Skatbo Records. The album follows the international success of their singles Stormfather, This Burning Guilt, and the latest preview, Dark Hand (out September 9, 2025), which collectively showcase the band’s evolution toward a heavier, more immersive doom metal experience.
Plaguelords is a nine-track descent into doom, blending mythic narrative with personal reflection. From the epic scope of Serpent Shrine and Wrath of a Mountain God to the intimate weight of Dark Hand and This Burning Guilt, the album delivers a sonic experience both crushing and cinematic. As Doomherre explains: “ Plaguelords is not just a collection of songs — it’s a book of horrors, with the Bonegoat as its author. We only give him the riffs to write with.” – Doomherre
Produced by the Swedish band, mixed and engineered by Victor Takala, and mastered by Björn Iversen, the album is a testament to Doomherre’s fiercely DIY approach.
