Debut EP, “Deities Of Uncreation”, out on November 24th!
Norwegian death metal band CONTORTED are set to release a horrific and dense miasma of grisly death with their debut EP ‘DEITIES OF UNCREATION.’ The four laden and sickening songs honor the old school death metal scene but the band provides their deadly version of brutal supremacy by changing up the rules with their own twisted sound.
CONTORTED, from Bergen, Norway, offers death metal in true Scandinavian form. The band consists of Kristian Brynjulfsen (vocals, rhythm guitar), Johannes Andreassen (lead guitar), Vegard Kanestrom (bass), and Mats Hovden (drums). Although they draw inspiration from the infamous Swedish death metal scene, the band’s focus has always been to make music their own way, with their own vision.
‘DEITIES OF UNCREATION’ is a self produced EP that conjures a dark atmosphere backed by a dynamic blend of eerie melodies and harmonies. The death and black metal infused vocals lead the songs, which are built upon crushing riffs, an explosive rhythm section, and even progressive elements.
