New album, “Moon Dog And Other Stories”, out on February 18th!
On this album, Age Of Aquarius introduce their new lead voice, Takoda Ray. Her stage name, drawn from a Lakota word meaning friend to all, captures both her warm presence and fearless creativity.
Raised on a blend of alternative rock and pop, Takoda channels a sound that is mystical yet immediate. A natural fit for the band’s bold fusion of cosmic storytelling and intricate songwriting.
On Moon Dog and Other Stories, her dynamic range and haunting melodies bridge the words and the music, turning tales of mystery into something vividly alive. As such, she has also forced the songwriting and playing onwards and upwards, resulting in songs that cross many genre borders. Takoda Ray isn’t just a singer; she’s the voice that carries Age Of Aquarius into its next chapter.
Peter says: “sadly I lost contact with Nakoma Z. But the songs were written directly after our 2021 release, so I am very happy with Takoda joining!”
