Produced by Paul Marc Rousseau (Silverstein) — who worked alongside engineer/mixer Dean Hadjichristou (Protest The Hero, Parkway Drive) and Sam Guaiana (Like Pacific). It’s mastered by Mike Kalajian (Emmure) and artwork done by Milan Chagoury (The Amity Affliction, In Hearts Wake) — "Balance" confirms the stylistic diversity and multi-faceted style of OBEY THE BRAVE.
Since forming in their native Canada, OBEY THE BRAVE has toured the world alongside fellow modern metalcore genre standard bearers like The Amity Affliction, Whitechapel, Blessthefall, Chelsea Grin, Emmure, All Shall Perish, We Came As Romans, and Miss May I, forging meaningful relationships with each audience, show after show.
A series of hardships and obstacles followed the release of the group’s well-received sophomore album, Salvation (2014), which built upon the early promise Young Blood (2012). Both are albums full of raw crunch, sincere attitude, metallic bite, and unadulterated adrenaline. The group weathered two lineup changes, a string of bad luck with an overseas promoter, and a series of false starts in the studio before finally emerging with their 2017 album Mad Season, the band’s most focused, ambitious, and urgently visceral album by that time.
Now the band's fourth full-length "Balance" is about the be released via Impericon Records in Europe. With its raw passion and furious determination, the album affirms OBEY THE BRAVE as a major heavyweight in the metalcore genre.
