Remastered edition of "Random Acts Of Beauty" out now!
His critically acclaimed 2010 album Random Acts of Beauty became one of the biggest progressive rock releases of the year and features a rare guest appearance by legendary guitarist Andrew Latimer of the English progressive rock band Camel.
Random Acts of Beauty, originally released in the fall of 2010, was met with nearly universal acclaim in progressive rock circles around the world. The Mellotron drenched, classically influenced symphonic rock album featured soaring melodies and lush keyboard rich arrangements, as well as powerful lead guitar work courtesy of David’s then 20-year-old son Justin, along with a rare special guest appearance by Camel guitarist Andrew Latimer on the track Masquerade. Golden Robot Records’ 2019 remixed and remastered version contains two previously unreleased bonus tracks both featuring Latimer.
The landmark album from progressive artrock musician David Minasian, The Sound of Dreams (featuring a who’s who of progressive rock royalty) is out now via Golden Robot Records.
The album has already spawned 2 singles - the hauntingly beautiful So Far From Home featuring Grammy Award winning guest vocalist PJ Olsson, lead singer for the Alan Parsons Live Project; and the mesmerizing The Sound of Dreams (Third Movement) featuring iconic British guitarist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Steve Hackett of Genesis fame. The album also features guest appearances from a number of rock pioneers including vocalist/guitarist Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues, vocalist Annie Haslam of Renaissance, bassist Billy Sherwood of Yes, vocalist PJ Olsson of The Alan Parsons Live Project, vocalist Julie Ragins of The Moody Blues/Justin Hayward Live and drummer Geof O’Keefe of Pentagram.
